Neighbourhood Treasure initiatives strengthen the sense of community

In the meadow stands a young, dynamic neighborhoodwhere the drive for action is great. “With the Neighbor Treasure we want to support ideas for a lively neighborhood and make their implementation possible. The neighborhood council helped us with this, because with the Neighbor Treasure the residents themselves decide which ideas they support and implement with their neighborhood budget,” says an excited Beatrix Vogler-Kautz of the Urban Renewal Area Support Team.

The active participation has proven: Many residents are already involved in In der Wiesen and are committed to their neighborhood – with the aim of promoting a vibrant community. With the GB*Neighbourhood Treasure Initiative The Urban Renewal Area Management wants to motivate even more people to become involved in their living environment and various open spaces to share.
