Germany in the year 2029. Star journalist Johann Hellström (Tobias Moretti) finds himself with Frau Lucia (Valery Tscheplanowa) in his completely digital holiday home on an island in the Baltic Sea in Zurück. Hellström was appointed by a populist party that currently governs Germany, and is housed with a robbery ban, in order to be able to prove his innocence from exile. When the political elite in the country has committed a terrorist attack, the technologically highly modern house begins to swindle, to expand its interests and to undertake its own actions.
