RWE übertrifft Marktwartungen im 1. Halbjahr – Ausblick bestätigt | 14.08.24

FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)–Energy group RWE has earned less for half a year than in the previous year. Mainly because of lower performance rates in the segments flexible manufacturing and energy trading sunk energy prices. Market conditions are said to have been affected.

“Our ‘Growing Green’ strategy will deliver better EBITDA six months later than a company with wind and solar energy,” says RWE’s chief advocate Markus Krebber about the project. “Our power production from renewable energy is an estimated level of 26 terawatt hours and a contribution of 45 percent to total energy.”

In 2024, the report of the Group has started with an ergebnis at the end of the postponed Zielspanne. The realized EBITDA should increase between 5.2 and 5.8 billion euros. The realized EBIT was worth 3.2 to 3.8 billion euros. The net amount of the profit is 1.9 to 2.4 billion euros. The dividend will be distributed in the course of the year in an amount of 10 cents to 1.10 euros.
