FutureFuel announces appointment of new director

CLAYTON, Mo., August 14, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — FutureFuel Corp. (NYSE: FF) (“FutureFuel” or the “Company”), a manufacturer of customized and performance chemicals and biofuels, today announced that its Board of Directors (the “Board”) has appointed Richard P. Rowe as a Class B member of the Board, effective August 13, 2024, until his successor is duly elected and qualified or until his earlier death, resignation or removal.

Mr. Rowe has served as President of RPR Global Solutions, LLC, a consulting firm providing advisory services to companies in the specialty chemical and materials industries, since February 2022. After serving for more than 20 years in various leadership positions at Arkema, SA, a multinational manufacturer of specialty materials and chemicals, Mr. Rowe was President and Chief Executive Officer of Arkema Inc., a North American subsidiary of Arkema SA, from July 2015 through November 2021 and served on the boards of several Arkema SA subsidiaries, including Arkema Mexico, Arkema Canada and Bostik Inc., and Arkema joint ventures including Arkema-Yoshitomi (Japan), Nitta-Findley (Japan) and Seki-Arkema (Korea). Mr. Rowe was Chairman of the Global Fluorochemical Producers Forum and served for more than six years on the board of directors of the American Chemistry Council and its Responsible Care and Sustainability committees. Mr. Rowe is Vice Chairman of Pediatric Pharmaceuticals and also Vice Chairman of Club Longboat Beach & Tennis.
