CM announces job for family of Havildar Hembram who was murdered by criminals

Chief Minister Hemant Soren today met the family members of late Havildar Chauhan Hembrom of Hazaribagh district police at his residential office on Kanke Road in Ranchi.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced that a member of the family of late Havildar Chauhan Hembrom would be given a government job. The Chief Minister assured the family that the process for appointment to Class 3 or Class 4 posts on compassionate grounds would be completed soon and guidelines for this purpose have already been issued to the officials.

The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram’s wife Jomoti Devi, son Mahesh Hembram and daughter Swati Hembram and other family members. Chief Minister Hemant Soren assured the family members of Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram that they will get justice in every situation. The Chief Minister told the family members that the state government has given strict instructions to senior police officials including DGP to arrest the culprit at the earliest and get the strictest punishment so that such an incident does not happen in future.

The Chief Minister consoled the family members of late Havildar Chauhan Hembram and said that the state government is always there for you in this hour of grief. The Chief Minister assured the family members of all possible help from the state government. MLA Kalpana Soren also expressed his condolences to the family members of late Havildar Chauhan Hembram and consoled them. The dependent of late Havildar Chauhan Hembram will be given job on compassionate grounds.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced to give government job to a relative of Havildar Late Chauhan Hembram. The Chief Minister told the family that soon all the procedures for appointment in class 3 or 4 on compassionate grounds will be completed, instructions have been given to the officers for this purpose. The dependent family will get around Rs 1 crore 29 lakh from the state government

The amount payable is as follows: 60 lakh compensation payment in view of Resolution No. 4179/dated 09.07.24 of Home, Prison and Disaster Management Department, 50 lakh benefit from police salary package provided through SBI, gratuity amount 11 lakh 25 thousand rupees, earned leave salary 5 lakh 62 thousand rupees, provident fund amount 1 lakh, group insurance amount 37 thousand rupees, necessary financial assistance from charitable fund 30 thousand rupees and family pension 9 thousand rupees.

It is known that Chauhan Hembram, a resident of Pindatad village, Taratand police station in Giridih district, who was working as a Havildar in Hazaribagh district police, was brutally murdered by a criminal on August 12, 2024, while on duty.
