Arkansas is ranked #9 in the Softball America Transfer Class Rankings

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The transfer class of two Arkansas Razorbacks players, Kailey Wyckoff and Karlie Davison, is ranked No. 9 in the Softball America Transfer Class Rankings, the publication announced Wednesday.

Wyckoff is ranked No. 8 on the individual transfer rankings. The left-handed junior arrives in Fayetteville from Texas Tech, where she had a standout 2024 season with First-Team All-Big 12 Accolades. She saw action at catcher, first base, left field and right field in her 50 games played, including 49 starts. Wyckoff batted .407 with 12 doubles, seven home runs and a career-high 35 RBI. She posted a career-best 24-game reached-base streak and a pair of seven-game hitting streaks while leading the Red Raiders with 15 multi-hit games. As a freshman, she was named Big 12 Freshman of the Year after hitting .393 with nine home runs and 39 RBI.

Davison followed Wyckoff at No. 42 on the list. She played her freshman and sophomore seasons with Utah, appearing in 96 games with 87 starts, primarily at shortstop. Last season, Davison batted .294 with five doubles, three home runs and 12 RBIs, with 15 runs scored and five stolen bases in 40 games while helping the Utes reach the NCAA tournament. She enjoyed a strong start to her sophomore season, batting .500 through the team’s first 12 games with at least one hit in 11 of those 12 games before finishing February with a .421 batting average for the month. As a freshman, she led Utah with 11 home runs while driving in 32 runs and helping the Utes reach the Women’s College World Series.

The Razorbacks have a 37-18 record in 2024, including their seventh consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024 and their fifth national seed, all under head coach Courtney Deifel.
