Fans say Marc Guiu has ‘played his FIRST and LAST game at Stamford Bridge’ after shocking open goal miss against Servette

MARC GUIU may have played his “first and last” game for Chelsea after he shockingly missed an open goal.

The Spanish striker started as a striker for Swiss Servette FC in the Europa Conference League.

Chelsea went 1-0 up five minutes after the break thanks to a penalty from Christopher Nkunku.

And Guiu had the chance to double the lead a little later, but it went horribly wrong.

He did the hard work of keeping the keeper under control, creating a tap-in with no one in goal.

But as the goalkeeper ran back towards the goal, he was able to prevent Guiu’s shot from crossing the goal line.

The attacker botched his lines on the second attempt and could not avoid being embarrassed.

One fan joked: “First and last start at Stamford Bridge for Marc Guiu.”

Another said: “Good to see Chelsea have solved their finishing issues with Guiu…”

One of them was furious: “Damn it, we need a striker…”

The 18-year-old Guiu was signed from Barcelona this summer for £5million.

And it looks set to be a season in which he will fight for his place under Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, despite rumours of a loan move.

Chelsea remained interested in Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and also welcomed Joao Felix back to west London.
