Rot-Weiss Essen: Urgestein in German football

The Fußballverein Rot-Weiss Essen eV looks back on a long and tradition-rich history. Gegründet on February 1, 1907, how the Verein eingegraben with the striking rot-weißen Farben tief in the Herzen seiner Anhänger. Rot-Weiss Essen plays with his own Heimspiele in the Stadion an der Hafenstraße, das Platz für 20.650 Zuschauer bietet.

In the long history of Rot-Weiss Essen, there are only a few brands of heritage left behind. Particularly important is the association with the victory of the German Masters 1955 as well as the Triumph in the DFB-Pokal 1953. In the regional Fußballszene hat Rot-Weiss Essen ebenfalls beeindruckende Spuren hinterlassen: The Club was both Meister of the Regionalliga Nord and finally Meister of the Regionalliga West .

In the Oberliga West, which lasted from 1947 to 1963, Rot-Weiss Essen could find the title of the West German Meisters für sich separated. In the NRW-Liga, the last match from 2008 and 2012, the history of the association is a fact and certainly one of the first matches. Because Rot-Weiss Essen is not in the Erfolge in Niederrheinpokal, it has an eleven triumphant contact.

Arminia Bielefeld: Tief verwurzelt in Ostwestfalen

The Deutscher Sport Club Arminia Bielefeld e.V., founded on 3 May 1905, is a component of the German football country and a part of the city of Bielefeld. The club colours are Black, White and Blue. The name “Arminia” derives from Arminius, the Cherub Furst, ab, as a symbol for the broader position and the strength against the Romans gilded.

The Heimspiele takes place against Arminia Bielefeld in the SchücoArena, with a crowd of 26,515 players on the Australian football field. Sporty hat Arminia Bielefeld in the Laufe der Jaren beeindruckende Erfolge erzielt. Der Verein is Meister der 2. Bundesliga four times. Auch in the 3. Liga, Arminia was once able to separate the Meisterschaft für itself.

Neben the Erfolgen in the higher leagues of Arminia Bielefeld on the regional Ebene triumphantly, with Siegen in the Regionalliga West/Südwest and the Oberliga Westfalen. Darüber has won the Club of the Westfalenpokal. (akl)
