Police release CCTV of vandalism to penguin sculpture in Worcester

Two more sculptures were already damaged one day after the exhibition.

The vandalism was caught on camera outside the Worcester sewage treatment plant on Bromwich Parade at around 01:00 BST.

Sgt Sam Mott said: “I realise the footage does not give a clear picture of the two suspects, but I would urge anyone to come forward with information if they recognise their clothing or behaviour, or if they saw two people in the area walking towards Bromwich Parade at the time of the incident.

“The footage shows a suspect filming the damage that is being done. You may have seen this footage shared somewhere.

“This incident has caused great concern for many people in our community. Any information you may have will help us find those responsible.”
