Lichterfest in Westfalenpark – Program and highlights in Überblick

The Westfalenpark runs through the Samstag in a funkelndes Lichtermeer. The Lichterfest offers a relaxing night full of music and attractions.

On coming Saturday, from 4 p.m. the Westfalenpark transforms into a magical, sparkling place. The light festival is an event between the lights, Christmas and light shows, but also a night of music and attractions.

Tons of light sources – from candles to innovative light objects to artfully arranged light chains – bathe paths and meadows in warm, loading light, the city announces. A nostalgic annual fair at the Kaiserhain is a mood-setter for the times.

From 16:00 in the Park Seine Tore, and for the young guests, there is a special lesson program: the marchenbereich in the Regenbogenhaus offers Feen, a fire show and a creative Mitmachangebote. At 21:00 goes to the Wiese and the Ruhrallee, a Firework for Children’s Presenters.

The official program starts at 18:00 and starts with all the alternative groups. From 20:00 the band “Night Club Ensemble” plays with an indietronic set for music, before the party starts with a splashing performance in a clubbing fläche.

At the Dance Surface “Future Performance” an LED dance show will be performed, in which the Dortmund DJs MLM and Disco Colada, with the big market dance and the Dortmund DJ Picnics, with a Funk Clubbing Mix for ausgelassene Mood solutions. From 21:00 to 0:30 the Beats charges the guest of a Dance and make a Party Night at the Lichterfest.
