BHOPAL: A grade 11 student in member of parliament‘S Anuppur District was allegedly raped by her school principal, who lured her under the pretense that he wanted to help her complete a school subject exam registration form.
The 19-year-old girl was raped on August 23, but it was not until August 25 that she gathered the courage to approach her. Police.
“The police are looking for the accused teacher. In her complaint, the student said she had gone to him on Saturday to fill a registration form for exam class 12but he took her to a building and raped her,” police chief Ajay Singh Tekam told TOI.
The survivor could not clearly identify the building where she was raped, Tekam said.
According to the police, preliminary investigation has revealed that the girl is in grade 11, but wanted to sit for the grade 12 exam as a private student. She sought help from the teacher, who was the acting principal of the school.
He told her to travel to Anuppur to fill out the form, and offered to drive her there in his car. Instead, he took her to an abandoned building and raped her, police said.
