The implementation enhances connectivity of mobile, IoT devices and AI-driven applications to support luxury services and amenities such as an AI Concierge. Accessible via an in-room digital voice assistant or the Nobu mobile app, the always-on AI Concierge responds to requests and makes proactive recommendations based on real-time data and guest preferences. The network implementation also delivers AI-driven intelligence that drives operational efficiencies and strengthens data security, enabling Nobu Hotels to meet the expectations of its discerning guests.

“Our connectivity vision emphasizes a secure, seamless, hyper-personalized guest experience that leverages advanced technologies, including multiple types of artificial intelligence applied before, during and after the stay,” Rodney Linville, global head of IT for Nobu Hospitality. “This includes smart rooms, personalized services, advanced CRM and property management capabilities, housekeeping and maintenance automation, digital employee communications, and exceptional data security based on Zero Trust.”

Native IoT connectivity, lower power consumption and Zero Trust

With strong security a priority for Nobu’s customers, the hotelier relies on Zero Trust principles integrated into its new network to secure its connectivity-focused and IoT-enabled environment.

For guest accommodations and security, IoT technologies include door automation, security cameras, digital voice assistants, Apple TVs, lighting, window shades, in-room dining ordering, and the HVAC sensors needed to give guests the ability to fine-tune their climate control.
