How to Reset Your Account in Escape from Tarkov

The popular extraction shooter has been in development since 2012 and in beta testing since 2017. While the game is now available to anyone to purchase and play, the developers periodically organize server wipes as part of the testing phase, which “serve multiple purposes.” These wipes automatically reset all of your progress to the starting point, except for achievements, so you can start over without having to manually delete everything.

How to Reset Your Escape from Tarkov Account

To reset your game character EFTthen follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the game and launcher are closed.
  2. Log in to the official website.
  3. Click on the Profile button at the top of the website after you log in.
  4. Click on the in the right column Reset the game profile knob.
  5. You can choose to delete your progress in PvE or PvP mode, or both.
  6. Check the boxes that meet your requirements and click Reset the game profile. Select Yes to confirm.

After a successful reset, you will see a message that your profile has been reset, after which you can start it Escape from Tarkov to start grinding from the beginning.

Please note that you can only manually reset your account once every three weeks. This rule also applies to server wipes organized by the devs, so you should wait if your account was recently wiped after an update.

Do you need to reset your account in Escape from Tarkov?
