TV channel featuring only Christmas films available 24/7 on Sky, Virgin and Freeview – but viewers say it’s ‘too early’

A TV channel dedicated entirely to Christmas is back on British screens.

AWESOME! Christmas starts all over again every year, but in 2024 it will come earlier than ever.

And viewers say it’s just ‘too early’.

“Wait a minute, Halloween isn’t over yet and Christmas isn’t over yet,” someone wrote on X.

Others were happy with the channel, saying: “I don’t mind, I can watch Christmas movies all year round. I don’t understand why people think you should only watch them at Christmas.

“But the answer is of course: if you think it’s too early, don’t look, simple!”

The filming schedule has not yet been confirmed, but in previous years GREAT! Christmas has shown feelgood low-budget TV movies.

This year the channel will be back on air on September 5, a whopping 110 days before the big day itself.

And it’s the earliest the film has ever premiered: last year it was released on September 7 and the year before that on September 8.

It lasts until January 8th.

GREAT! Christmas replaces the existing GREAT! Romance channel in the TV guides.

It will be available on Sky, Virgin Media and Freeview.
