More than 52,000 flights are scheduled for Thursday as Americans travel for the Labor Day weekend, according to the FAA.

US airports will be even busier on Friday, with the TSA expecting 2.86 million people to board flights for the long weekend.

Ten of the TSA’s busiest days ever have occurred after May, but once Labor Day rolls around, challenges begin for the travel industry as people focus more on work and school and less on travel.

Nearly 40% of middle class Americans worry about retirement

Nearly 40% of middle-class adults in America are concerned about their retirement and the future of Social Security, according to a new survey from TransAmerica.

Researchers found that 39% of respondents were concerned that their Social Security benefits would be cut or exhausted by the time they were eligible. They were also concerned about outliving their savings until retirement.

Middle-class Americans are expected to live to an average age of 90, more than a decade longer than the country’s current life expectancy of 77.5 years.

USDA: Replace the Paper Bag with a Safer School Meal

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) advises parents to stop using paper bags for school lunches and switch to insulated bags instead.

While choosing a new lunch box, you can also add a cooling element. This will keep your child’s food at a safe temperature until lunchtime.

Instagram Wants to Add New Music Feature with Spotify

Instagram says it is exploring “deeper music integration” with Spotify and is testing a feature that would allow users to continuously share the music they’re listening to via Instagram notes.

Users can already share 30-second snippets, but the Spotify tool (if it actually comes out) would automate the process.
