The Mühlen Gruppe (ZMG) with Sitz in Böklund started as an investor in a food start-up in the vegetarian segment. The full-fledged product of high-quality sausages is vegan and vegetarian alternative, it is a Berlin start-up that does nothing and invests in the lives of its colleagues.

With the brands “Gutfried”, “Vevia 4 You” and “Es schmeckt” the Mühlen Group is cooking a parallel tradition to the development of vegetarian and vegan meat, fish and sausage alternatives. These active ingredients are now being further developed in the Zukunftsfeld der Herstellung Alternative Protein Mittels Fermentation. “The investment in the Berlin start-up Nosh has been a perfect success in an alternative protein strategy”, says ZMG Managing Director Axel Knau.

The start of production in the large mass is not so long ago in 2024 in one of the most evil brewery. The range of products, in the protein of nosh, is made of meat and fish alternatives with vegetables, pesto, cold cuts and eggs in the kitchen. “As small start-ups, the world is never sold again. We have a strong partner, the product is developed and sold on the market. The Mühlen Group is with its turnover and the long experience as a life restorer a solcher partner”, says Tim Fronzek, Mitgründer and CEO of Nosh.

Tim Fronzek and his team are naturally engaged in pilz specialization, which allows them to cook in Japanese cuisine with a fermentation experience for years. The Koji Pilz (Aspergillus orizae) is a food of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) that is engaged in a “Wunderpilz” activity. The start-up has set itself on the pilzekraft, a number of its own fermentations and after-treatment products schmackhafte and food-free products with a short-term supply list rezustellen.

The Mühlen Gruppe uses the pill as a new article in the range, which is used more as a mere meat alternative. Axel Knau is the überzeugt of the innovation: “Together with Nosh we have brought the first protein-rich meat analogue product onto the market. With a subsequent short list, a similar taste and value can be achieved at an impressive price.” Another example: The Koji-Pilz is a natural raw material, the spores grow quickly. The products produced are neutral, protein-rich and can be produced and the end products will be processed later. Make sure that your recovery is less sourced. If in the obtained fermentation products Pilzmycel of the consistency and the color is an ideal protein source, another type of aerial platform and additional material free an alternative can be found.

“Together with Nosh we have created the first protein-rich meat analogue product: the Koji Stripes. It is a bissfeste stripe, which can be placed on the salad or roasted in the pan, and the list with the wax and the marinade can be used another time, than Koji Pilz”, explains Axel Knau.
