The Mühlheimer Pension Weller must use a tag as a film production for a feature film production that feels involved with the Treasures of the Boulevard-Presse.

Mühlheim – Wer die unscheinbare Pension in der Albertstraße betritt, fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt. In an Ecke am Fenster there is a seating arrangement in the dunkler massif, on the Polstern schlängeln sich Rankenmuster made over the centuries, here and the klafft a Loch in Bezug. In the middle of a braun-gekachelter flies in almost 80 years of silence, a white teppich, the darunter on the ground lies, with a slightly gräuliche farbung engenommen inzwischischen.

A few texts that reflect Theke fall from the brown massif: Marke urige Kneipe. A ring of Tischen is filled with beer and blue ash becher from glass, filled to the brim with chicken stummels. The series works stimulating, but it is not really real – it is a film set.

Afterwards we spent a few days working in the Pension Weller in Mühlheim. Working for a production of the ZDF with the work title “Wenn es butet” (wir messageeten). The project is thematically described with the niece of a free wall-free method of the Boulevard-Presse and a fatal Auswirkungen done on the Leben einzelner Personen. “With the film I was allowed to develop these critical hints and observations, which could be reflected in media and society,” said director Daniel Sager. There will be no more spoiled.

The 38 years have had their journalistic themes, which have inspired another documentary film about the Relotius-Skandal. With “Wenn es blutet” is now a play film debut in 2025 in the ZDF-Reihe “Das kleine Fernsehspiel” was released. Unterstützt with Sager dabei von der Frankfurter Produktionsfirma U5, die bereits zahlreiche Projekte – darunter auch Ausgaben des Tatorts – bereut hat. “We are happy to have a good relationship with you and our team, because of the director’s creative vision that can make the best results,” reports Oliver Arnold, who is in common with the colleague Katrin Haase who has a great time with the U5 leader.

Vom Casting der Schauspieler über Aufnahme- und Produktionsleitung am Set bis zur Auslotung finanzieller Fragen ist das Frankfurter Unternehmen demnach a fast all Schritten beteilgtung, übernimmt sudem de Kommunikation with externaln Dienstleistern. “Without speaking a natural message to an inspector and a registrar,” Haase states clearly.

This is so much fun with the Location Selection. Authority over a small guesthouse in the home country, in the main character of the films, while they were investigating a missing person case in the province of Hesse. “It was important to us that the scenery works authentically, especially for the sake of argument, no large, luxurious hotel came into question,” said Haase. It is possible that the guesthouse has one of the best learning experiences in the following way given shape by the Szenenbildner verfügen.

Although the Wahl never fell in Mühlheim, Arnold received a message. “We actually found a dream house in Bad Vilbel, but then we finally agreed to be the leader again.” An alternative must also be found, the Wahl falls precisely on the Pension Weller. “If the location is financed, it could be that one of the greatest people ever had a problem, it is perfect for our previous development,” said Co-Managing Director Haase.

And so the fact that the film set no longer functions would not work in the representation of the film set. “First the walls are straightened, then the table, furniture and other props are put down,” Haase describes the process. It may be that it is so that it is a large part of man, the film is flickering above the matt sheet, a pension in the Hessian province from within imagine.

Still in Abend (August 30) the Darsteller, which the German Schauspieler Matthias Matschke can call, stehen for the Linse. Then the Film Crew and Ensemble die Zelte in the Mühlenstadt ab, see them later in Drehort. Plant since another Stopps in Dreieich and Maintal.

“I have the Gegend and Menschen in Mühlheim as open and safe experiences and gratitude, so we can live here,” director Daniel Sager summarizes about Abschluss der Arbeiten. (Jan Lucas Frenger)
