  • Overcome your fear of falling
  • Recognize risk factors for falls

Farm Science Review Tickets Available

Tickets for the 2024 Farm Science Review are now on sale at the Fairfield County OSU Extension office at 831 College Avenue, Lancaster. FSR will be held next month, September 17-19. Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance at the Extension office and $15 if purchased at the gate.

What is the Farm Science Review?

FSR is one of the largest agricultural trade shows and educational events in the United States. This is the 62nd FSR held at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center.

The FSR is not only a chance to try out the latest farm equipment in your favorite color, it is also an educational opportunity. OSU Extension offers a variety of different lectures and presentations on agricultural topics such as agronomic crop systems, livestock production, natural resource management and farm business management.

Extension professionals can be found at the Woman in Ag booth, the small farm pavilion, and the agronomy and livestock tents. Each year, experimental plots are planted for discussion and a look at OSU Extension’s research on agricultural crops. If you’re interested in natural resources, head to the Gwynne Conservation Area to listen to lectures on grazing management, ginseng cultivation, and forestry topics.

Labor Day

OSU Extension in Fairfield County will be closed on Monday, September 2 for the Labor Day Holiday. We will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3.
