Angela Rayner has been spotted looking wild in a DJ booth in Ibiza just before Parliament returns from its summer recess.

Actress Denise van Outen posted a video showing the Deputy Prime Minister dancing on the Spanish party island.

The footage shows the Labour politician wearing a red outfit and dancing to a remix of Gotye’s hit single Somebody That I Used to Know.

Mrs Rayner, holding a bottle in one hand, turns to her fellow partygoers and then hugs DJ FISHER, who played at the Hi Ibiza club late on Wednesday night.

The footage of her dancing in the DJ booth suggests it was early Thursday morning, with the clock showing it as being after 4am.

The 44-year-old has previously bragged about her 12-hour-plus vodka-drinking ‘rave’ sessions.

Speaking at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, Ms Rayner said she had just returned from a holiday in Spain, where she had partied from mid-afternoon until dawn the following morning.

The Labour leader, who is nicknamed ‘Grangela’ at Westminster after having a grandchild at the age of 37, said: ‘The girls I was partying with are half my age, and I thought, “I’m a grandma.”

“I was proud of that. I started at 4 p.m. and got home at 6 a.m., the sun was shining and I thought, ‘Yeah, I can do it.'”

When asked if she did it “with or without chemical support,” she replied that she only drank vodka.

“You have to go with the music, the vibes. You have to be in the moment and it takes you away,” Ms Rayner added.

Since Labour’s general election victory, the Deputy Prime Minister has spent the summer working on Labour’s overhaul of planning rules.

Ms Rayner has also been the driving force behind a series of controversial reforms in workers’ rights.
