German stocks mixed at close of trading; DAX down 0.03% By Investing.com

Investing.com – German stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and stocks sectors led higher, while losses in the , and stocks sectors led lower.

At the close in Frankfurt, the index was down 0.03%, while the index was up 0.73% and the index was down 0.23%.

The best performers of the session were: Siemens Energie AG (ETR:), which rose 1.76% or 0.45 points to close at 26.05. Meanwhile, Vonovia SE (ETR:) added 1.70% or 0.52 points to close at 31.18 and Commerzbank AG ON (ETR:) rose 0.94% or 0.13 points to 13.38 in late trading.

The worst performers of the session were Zalando NE (ETR:), which fell by 2.46% or 0.59 points to close at 23.44. Airbus Group SE (ETR:) fell 1.27% or 1.78 points to close at 138.82 and SAP SE (ETR:) fell 0.65% or 1.30 points to close at 197.72.

The best performing companies on the MDAX were: Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which rose 8.04% to 28.49, Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which rose 5.63% to close at 125.80 and Around the city Real Estate Holdings PLC (ETR:) rose 2.18% to close at 2.30.

The worst performers were Tui AG NA (ETR:), which fell 3.18% to 5.96 in late trading, Hugo Boss AG NA ON (ETR:) which lost 1.97% to close at 37.81 and Aixtron SE (ETR:) which closed down 1.34% to 17.35.

The best performers on the TecDAX were Energy Office AG (ETR:) which rose 1.76% to 57.80, Nagarro ZO (ETR:) rose 1.52% to close at 77.00 and 11 AG (ETR:) rose 1.41% to close at 14.42.

The worst performers were Cancom SE ON (ETR:), which fell 1.81% in late trading to 27.12, Aixtron SE (ETR:), which lost 1.34% to close at 17.35, and CompuGroup Medisch AG ON (ETR:), which closed down 1.27% to 15.59.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, rising share prices outnumbered falling share prices. There were 333 to 274 share prices, and 40 closed unchanged.

The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, fell 2.26% to 14.17.

Gold futures for December delivery fell 0.93% or 23.80 to $2,536.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for October delivery fell 2.44% or 1.85 to $74.06 a barrel, while the Brent crude contract for November fell 1.93% or 1.52 to $77.30 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged by 0.18% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP was unchanged by 0.11% to 0.84.

US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.31% to 101.58.
