Baltimore Police Arrest Suspect in March Armed Robbery

LINDEN, NJ — Three suspects were arrested after a chase involving a stolen vehicle ended in a crash in Linden late Friday afternoon. The incident began around 5:30 p.m. when Linden Central Dispatch received reports of a police pursuit heading into town.

Preliminary reports indicate that the pursuit was called off on Route 1 at S. Wood Avenue. Shortly thereafter, the stolen vehicle struck a curb at the intersection of S. Stiles Street and 21st Street, disabling the car.

The three suspects fled on foot but were quickly apprehended after a joint response by officers from Linden, Elizabeth, Union, Rahway, the Union County Sheriff’s Office and the New Jersey State Police.

No injuries have been reported and the investigation is ongoing
