BEIJING, China, Sept. 1, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Li Auto Inc. (“Li Auto” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: LI; HKEX: 2015), a leader in China’s new energy vehicle market, today announced that it delivered 48,122 vehicles in August 2024, an increase of 37.8% year-on-year. This brought the Company’s total deliveries in 2024 to 288,103. As of August 31, 2024, the cumulative number of deliveries was 921,467 vehicles.

“Li L6 has gained widespread popularity among young users, with shipments exceeding 20,000 for the third consecutive month, further expanding our market share. In particular, our share of the RMB200,000 and above NEV market grew to 18% in July, surpassing Tesla to become the sales champion among NEV brands in China. We maintained our strong momentum and maintained the number one sales ranking among China’s emerging new energy auto brands in August. During the third quarter, we improved the product strength of all our models through continuous OTA updates, further increasing user satisfaction and pushing our NPS to a new high for the year so far. In addition, our full-stack patented autonomous driving architecture, which integrates an end-to-end (E2E) model and a vision language (VLM) model, has shown its strong capabilities and potential for further evolution during user testing. “The penetration rate of NOA kilometers in the city among test users is higher than 50%,” said Xiang Li, Chairman and CEO of Li Auto. “While improving the autonomous driving system, we also maximize the effectiveness of our active safety features. As of August 31, 2024, the company had 481 stores in 145 cities, 423 service centers and Li Auto authorized body and paint shops in 220 cities, and 748 supercharger stations with 3,506 charging stations in China.
