CARBIOS Appoints Tommy Maussin as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Committee Member to Develop CARBIOS Brand Presence Globally Page 1

Clermont-Ferrand (France), September 3, 2024 (06:45 CET). CARBIOS, (Euronext Growth Paris: ALCRB), a pioneer in the development and industrialization of bio-based technologies to reinvent the life cycle of plastics and textiles, announces the appointment of Tommy Maussin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective September 2, 2024. His mission will include developing and overseeing CARBIOS’ global marketing and sales activities with brands across multiple industries, including packaging, textiles, luxury, automotive, cosmetics, healthcare and industrial goods. Tommy will be responsible for enhancing CARBIOS’ global presence to initiate and close commercial agreements with brand owners. His proven track record of successfully managing businesses across multiple industries and in complex and international environments is expected to play a critical role in shaping CARBIOS’ customer-centric marketing strategies going forward. Tommy Maussin will join the Executive Committee and report to Emmanuel Ladent, Chief Executive Officer of CARBIOS.

With over 17 years of experience in international business for various Michelin tire divisions, Tommy spent the last four years as European Director and Vice President of the Lifestyle division, successfully transforming the business and driving substantial growth for Michelin Guides and Robert Parker Wine Advocate across multiple regions. His vision for CARBIOS is to drive business growth through strategic execution, foster multicultural teams and maintain a strong focus on customer relationships to drive business growth.
