H World Group Limited announces change of Chief Financial Officer

SINGAPORE and SHANGHAI, Sept. 3, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — H World Group Limited (NASDAQ: HTHT and HKEX: 1179) (“H World” or the “Company”), a major player in the global hotel industry, today announced that Mr. Jun Zou will step down as Chief Financial Officer of the Company for personal reasons, effective September 4, 2024. Ms. Hui Chen, the Company’s Chief Compliance Officer, has been appointed as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, effective September 4, 2024.

Ms. Chen has deep expertise in financial management in the travel and hotel industry in China. She joined H World in 2014. From 2014 to early 2016, Ms. Chen served as executive vice president of finance at H World, responsible for internal financial management, and then as chief financial officer. From March 2018 to February 2020, she served as chief financial officer of Cjia Group Limited, H World’s subsidiary primarily engaged in providing apartment services. Ms. Chen rejoined H World in February 2020 as chief compliance officer. She then served as chief financial officer of H World from May 2021 to December 2022, and as chief compliance officer since December 2022. Her other previous work experience also includes chief financial officer of Home Inns Group and financial director of Trip.com. Ms. Chen received her master’s degree in management from Shanghai Jiaotong University.
