NFE’s Fast LNG assets receive DOE long-term LNG export license to non-FTA countries

New Fortress Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: NFE) (“NFE” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has received approval from the U.S. Department of Energy (“DOE”) to export up to ~1.4 million metric tons per year of LNG to non-FTA countries from its Fast LNG 1 (“FLNG 1”) assets offshore Altamira, Mexico, for a period of five years. Combined with the previously received FTA approval from the DOE, our FLNG 1 asset can now export LNG to markets and customers worldwide.
