‘Gaatchora’ celebrity Solanki Roy turns ‘teacher’ on this Teachers’ Day; gives a fun lesson to children

Solanki Roy has gone back to school. The popular face of Tollywood was in a classroom on this Teachers’ Day. On September 5, the Bengali actress taught and interacted with a group of children, while emphasizing the importance of education for them. Solanki took to social media to share a beautiful video in which she introduced herself and interacted with the children. Some of them were seen painting, while others were just having fun with the popular actress around them.
Solanki shared the heartwarming video on Instagram and wrote, “When children learn and grow in a nurturing environment, they develop skills, creativity and critical thinking that not only help them succeed personally but also contribute to stronger communities and a better nation. Educated children become informed adults who can overcome challenges, innovate and lead with empathy. It’s exciting to think about how today’s students will shape tomorrow’s world! Being in a classroom with these munchkins has strengthened my faith in the next generation and taught me so much compassion and love! It was such a beautiful experience!”

Solanki also thanked the organization she worked with to give the children this special experience. The actress thanked them and wrote, “You have been on this journey tirelessly for 15 years and the work you do gives us hope and courage! Proud to be associated with you.”
Solanki Roy rose to popularity after her role in ‘Ichche Nodee’ as Meghla, opposite Vikram Chatterjee. She played the historical role of Dr. Kadambini Ganguly aka Bini in a costume drama ‘Prothoma Kadambini’ opposite Honey Bafna. She made her big screen debut with ‘Baba Baby O’, where she shared the screen space with actor Jisshu Sengupta. She was recently seen in a popular Bengali daily ‘Gaatchora’ and a film called ‘Shohorer Ushnotomo Din E’. Solanki has also acted in web series like ‘Dhanbad Blues’ and ‘Montu Pilot’. Solanki was recently seen in Debaloy Bhattacharya’s web series ‘Boka Bakshote Bondi’, which also starred Neel Bhattacharya and Shoumo Banerjee.
