Canada’s largest food distributor adds electric tractors to fleet in Victoria, British Columbia

This is part of Sysco Corporation’s broader sustainability commitment, which aims to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 27.5% by 2030.

VICTORIA, British Columbia, Sept. 5, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Today, Sysco Corporation (NYSE:SYY), the world’s largest food distributor, celebrated the arrival of eight heavy-duty electric tractors to its fleet in Victoria, which serves more than 1,500 customers including restaurants, healthcare and educational institutions. In total, Sysco now has more than 130 heavy-duty electric tractors worldwide in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Sweden.
