Paris 2024 Paralympic Games: Finlay Graham, Emma Wiggs and Charlotte Henshaw win three gold medals for Great Britain

Finlay Graham, Emma Wiggs and Charlotte Henshaw won gold medals at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris on Saturday morning, taking Britain’s total to 45.

Graham, 24, won the men’s C1-3 road race, while Wiggs, 44, triumphed in the women’s 200m Va’a Single VL2 final.

Henshaw, 37, continued GB’s Para-canoe success by winning the women’s VL3 Single final, which also saw a silver medal for Hope Gordon. David Phillipson won silver in the men’s KL2 Single final.

Daniel Powell has secured himself at least a silver medal in the judo event (class -90 kg, J1).

In the para-equestrian category, Sophie Wells won the bronze medal in the individual Grade V freestyle competition.

Britain now has a total of 106 medals at the Paralympics, including those 45 gold. Only China, with 85 gold and 195 total medals, has more.
