Dak Prescott appears set to enter the 2024 NFL regular season on an expiring contract.

ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio reported Saturday night that there is only a “slim chance” that Prescott and the Cowboys will agree to terms on a new contract before Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns.

Prescott is expected to be an unrestricted free agent after the 2024 season and could be the best quarterback available on the open market.
