The Weeknd puts on an incredible show!

The superstar made his debut with a never-before-seen production in front of over 70,000 fans at his sold-out, one-off event on Saturday, September 7 at Estádio MorumBI in São Paulo, Brazil.

Special guest Playboy Carti came to perform two songs, while Anita surprised the audience by appearing on stage at the top of the old building disguised as one of The Weeknd‘s dancers.

The show included a fleet of 150 drones in the air at the end of the performance, spelling out the title of his long-awaited next album, Come by soon tomorrowthe conclusion of his trilogy of studio albums, following Dawn FM (2022) and After closing time (2020).

This album “represents the creative culmination of the project and serves as the third and final chapter, crafted with existential and self-referential themes, as seen in the latest visionary teasers that have fans ablaze with anticipation for this concluding installment,” via a release from Live Nation.

The album is now available for vinyl and CD pre-order, as well as a limited edition Greetings merchandise collection, with 10% of net proceeds from all sales donated to the BrazilFoundation’s Brazilian Soul Fund.

A huge projection of The Weeknd was exhibited on September 5 at the historic Farol Santander building, prior to the big show.

In October, The Weeknd leaves for Australia to perform four shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

As a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme, he also worked with the UN World Food Programme to contribute funds from the São Paulo show to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports the UN in its response to the unprecedented global famine. The local equivalent of $1 from each ticket sold will go to the charity.
