Neuer Club “Soft Spot” in Künstlerhaus Nürnberg is open

– Tschüss Kantine – hello Soft Spot! After a long time, the free time of the new Club in the Künstlerhaus has ended with a full-fledged party.

Long years would last a healthier and better year, in September of the year war it is so good: the Nürnberger Künstlerhaus could do more things. The club members who started in the course of the month of October, but the conversion and the use of the equipment can not be freed. Now, fast a year after the plant opening, open the Soft Spot on Friday, September 6, at 10 p.m. first hours in Türen. Even in August the Musikverein and the Verein Zentralcafé Kaya were taken out of the canteen. “We can still hear it”, writes the Musikverein on its homepage.

“It has been changed so many times, that we have to think about it: We were able to spend a year with it”, it is our Steffy for Musikverein. The Nachnamen nennt ihm Musikverein nobody: “That is not our thing.” It’s been years since Steffy has been part of the Vereins, while the Verein are at war in the Canteen. Since 2018, the war in the Ausweichquartier has been for the Verein, where the Räumlichkeiten in the Künstlerhaus have been reversed.

Schon since 1976 veranstaltete der Musikverein Konzerte, Lesungen, Parties of auch Political Veranstaltungen im Künstlerhaus, Formals K4, davor Komm. While it is more possible than in the canteen, Steffi notes: The entrance to the canteen is narrow, the room is quite small – so even smaller than the Zentralcafé -, the few toilets were not barrier-free. Kurzum: “Wir freuen us, dass die Kantine-Zeit vorbei ist.”

The name Soft Spot is a long brainstorming session. “Softly” soll in einem “in einem süßen, positiven Sinne” meanings became: “We since we were lost. And they can become our new Lieblingsort.”

A new club joining the Nürnbergerinnen and Nürnberger? Since then, there has always been a festival of games: “I was often in the Zentralcafé, but that was a long time here, in the canteen I was not so often. !”, erzählt a Besucherin. “I stop so long here, because the Zentralcafé is busy, in the meantime it is a man who is healthy,” our other visitors laugh. “That canteen isn’t that hot, but that’s K4 schon.” Aber: “Mein Herz buttet immer noch, dass es nicht mehr da drin ist.”

The stimulation and release are ausgelassen, but after 1 hour there is an end stop. A visitor would be happy to think: “I have a very positive attitude, because we can obtain a cultural center in the inner city, so that we can have such unconcerned benefits.”
