Suspect shot after armed robbery of person along Phoenix highway near Rydalvale

Saturday night, KZNVIP was dispatched to investigate a man found lying in blood along the side of a highway in Phoenix.

Upon arrival, two male African suspects were in the process of robbing a male victim. An unknown vehicle driving past saw the incident and opened fire on the armed suspects before driving away.

The alleged suspect suffered a gunshot wound to his leg and was stabilized on the scene by a government ambulance before being taken to a medical facility for further evaluation.

One suspect managed to evade arrest and the victim identified the alleged suspect who suffered the gunshot wound as one of the two suspects.
