Deutsche HVPI Inflation Fell to 2.0 Percent in August

FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)–Inflation in Germany during the German inflation in August caused a falling energy price deficit. Who has the Statistical Federal Office (Destatis), can the annual harmonization of the Verbraucherpreisindex (HVPI) at 2.0 (Formonaat: 2.6) Percent. The statistical data were published – who of the Volkswirten was – in the previous phase of the Schätzung on August 29.

The HVPI fell by 0.2 percent over the Formonat, while the previous data were the best. The HVPI rate is higher than the monetary policy of the Europäischen Zentralbank (EZB).

The national German consumer price index fell from form to 0.1 percent. The annual inflation rate was 1.9 (form: 2.3) percent. The numbers start with the first developments and the forecasts of Volkswirten.

“The price increases in the energy fall of inflation in August are not yet as large as in the month,” says Ruth Brand, chair of the Federal Statistics Office. “In contrast, the further gradual price increases in services have had an inflationary effect.”

The inflation rate of inflation and energy inflation remained at 2.8 percent in August.
