Johannes Wahl, born in 1989, studied chemistry and joined the research team of the Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research in Switzerland after his Master’s degree in 2012. His doctorate in organic chemistry was from 2013 to 2016 at the TU Munich and then as a postdoc at Indiana University in the USA. As of 2020, he is a junior professor in the Department of Chemistry at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
