With Week 3 of the Texas high school football season upon us, we take a look at our Fab Fives football games.

Two teams dropped out of our Class 6A and Class 5A, as well as our Class 4A.

These are the Fab Five of week 2:

Class 6A

1. Westlake (2-0): RB Justice Johnson rushed for 100 yards and 2 TDs in the win over San Benito. Next: Modest Atascocita

2. Lake Travis (2-0): It was QB Chaston Ditta who led an 85-yard game-winning TD drive in the final minute to beat Rockwall. Next: at Midland Legacy

3. Bowie (2-0): The Bulldogs move up two spots. They scored 97 points in the first two weeks. Next: Glenn (Thursday)

4. Round Rock (2-0): The Dragons enter our top five for the first time after a win over Temple, with QB Jack Appl accounting for 5 TDs. Next: View of the mountain ridge

5. Johnson (2-0): Another newcomer in the polls, Johnson overwhelmed Stony Point by rushing for 388 yards. Next: Austin High (Thursday)

Dropped: Vandegrift, Hutto

Class 5A

1. Weiss (2-0): RB Braiden Wooley averaged 14.8 yards per attempt against San Marcos. Next: at A&M Consolidated (Thursday)

2. Georgetown (2-0): The defense has been solid so far. LB Kole Mitchell had 13 tackles and a forced fumble in a 39-10 win over Belton. Next: Copperas Bay

3. Cedar Park (1-1): Timberwolves QB David Cooper threw for 200 yards and 2 TDs against Vandegrift. Next: Huntsville

4. Anderson (2-0): QB Max Gerlich has thrown for 11 TDs in the first two games. Next: at College Station

5. Pflugerville (2-0): The Panthers held Hays to 213 total yards in a 46-7 win. Next: at Fort Bend Christian

Dropped: Call, Hay

Class 4A/other

1. Wimberley (2-0): The Texans have won 27 straight regular-season games but travel to No. 2 LBJ this week. Next: at LBJ

2. LBJ (2-0): The Jaguars are coming off a bye. Good or bad against a tough opponent this week? Next:Wimberley

3. Lampasas (2-0): The win over Salado included a 99-yard TD pass from Lincoln Hossfeld to Brendan Wilson. Next: Killeen Chaparral

4. St. Michael’s (2-0): The defense has given up just 11 points in the first two weeks. Next: Saint Andrew

5. Regents (1-1): Had won 43 of their last 44 regular season games before losing to Houston Kincaid last week. Next: Antonian preparation
