Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS) on Monday unveiled India’s first luxury coaches exclusively for First Class and Business Class travellers at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The buses are designed to provide optimum comfort and feature first-class amenities such as luxury seats, ample legroom and air conditioning, ensuring a smooth transition between the terminal and the aircraft.

Three such electric coaches have been deployed for Air India flights, and there are plans to extend the service to other airlines.

Sanjay Gupta, CEO of AISATS, emphasised the company’s commitment to enhancing the luxury travel experience and prioritizing eco-friendly activities.

“By leveraging our aviation expertise, we are transforming the luxury air travel experience, improving operational efficiency and transitioning to eco-friendly operations. This is in line with our aggressive growth strategy to boost India’s emerging aviation sector and consolidate our leadership in delivering delightful and sustainable aviation services,” he said.
