Thousands of people are employed by the City of Augusta, serving in various roles within the community. While the Augusta Commission and Mayor represent some of the city’s top leaders, you may be surprised to learn that they are not the highest earners. So who is?

Below are the top 20 earners in fiscal year 2023, according to Augusta documents:

1. Hameed Malik
