Week Four: High School Football Content

The Class A state title rematch was a defensive battle in the beginning, with both teams doing everything they could to win the game.

Neither team scored until the second quarter, when Isaac Duty found Mikey Hager outside the numbers and raced into the end zone for the game’s opening score.

Ultimately, the Panthers achieved their first victory of the season: 16-13.

Pikeville’s tough matchups don’t go away after Week 4. The Panthers prepare to host No. 3 Belfry on Sept. 20.
