Ensurge Ships Sample Batteries to US Department of Energy

OSLO, Norway, September 17, 2024 – Ensurge Micropower (OSE: ENSU, and OTCQB: ENMPY) (“Ensurge” or the “Company”), has shipped the batteries as part of Phase 2 of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Micro Battery Design Competition.

“We submitted a mix of coin cells and assembled multilayer stacked batteries, built on a 10um stainless steel substrate, to demonstrate the battery technology itself and the maturity of our manufacturing process,” said Lars Eikeland, CEO of Ensurge. “The submitted samples represent a variety of microbattery application cases. Ensurge is making great progress in achieving battery performance targets while optimizing yield and encapsulation to extend cycle life, allowing us to stack batteries ever higher.”
