Sui Becomes Official Blockchain Partner for ONE Championship

Sui, an advanced Layer 1 blockchain, today announced that it will become the official blockchain partner of ONE Championship (“ONE”), the world’s largest combat sports organization. ONE events represent the full spectrum of combat sports, with world-class athletes from over 80 countries competing in MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, submission grappling and other disciplines. The partnership was announced during a panel at Sui’s Singapore Builder House at Token2049, the world’s largest crypto event.

Through this partnership, Sui will be integrated into several ONE products, including A fighting arenathe long-awaited official, free-to-play Web3 game for mobile devices, developed in partnership with Animoca Brands and its subsidiary Notre Game. A fighting arena features ONE’s extensive roster of world-class fighters and an extensive library of intellectual property.

The mobile game leverages Sui’s world-class technology to deliver a whole new gaming experience with true digital ownership at its core, while also allowing ONE to directly connect with its global fan base in a deeper way.

Sui’s integrations include a comic/manga series about ONE athletes accessible via zkLogin and powered by the Walrus Protocol on Sui, a free-to-play pick’em game where fans can win various rewards and phygital collectibles that combine physical and digital aspects.
