Project: ESP32-Platine for Schrittmotoren | heise online

A modern maker named “joshr120” has developed a platine technology, a Smart-Home and IoT project with Schrittmotoren in a small smaller form that is a way to work. The platine has a Nema-17-Steppers and such a check valve mounted.

On the 42 × 42 mm board you will find an ESP32-S3 with WLAN and Bluetooth. There is a 4-pin JST-PH plug that has a bipolar motor and a platinum connection. This can quickly charge the ESP32 with a Trinamic TMC2209 motor. Mithilfe AS5600-Dreh-Encoders on the backside of the platinum are no longer suitable for switching on the motors and using the ESP32 – before using the stepper-welle version with a suitable magnets.

The power supply of the microcontroller and motor is a simple USB-C bus. The board supports USB power supply and can thus be compatible with power supplies, where voltage and maximum currents are used. So welds itself Motors up to 50 Watts are used. There is a DC/DC converter that uses 3.3 volts for the ESP32.
