Baut in den Nederlanden ultraschnellen Batteriespeicher zur Stabilisierung des Stromnetzes (ee-news.ch)

(ee-news.ch) Based on the gelände in his new power plant in Moerdijk we have started to build an ultra-fast battery system. This system service is provided as Momentanreserve. The batteries are equipped with an installed capacity of 7.5 Megawatt (MW) and a capacity of 11 Megawatt (MWh) verfügen.

The Batteriespeicherprojekt Moerdijk is part of the system integration solution of Oranje Wind, the joint offshore wind energy project of Rwe and Total Energies off the Dutch coast (see ee-news.ch from 9.10.23 >>). Oranje Wind is a new way to integrate volatile power generation from renewable sources into the Dutch energy system. No electrolysers, intelligent charging stations for electrical appliances, electric boilers and batteries are needed.

Herausforderung Netzstabilität

Second test phase
After the implementation of the end of 2024, the pilot phase continued.
