CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 19, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Condor Energies Inc. (“Condor” or the “Company”) (TSX: CDR), a Canada-based energy transition company, is pleased to report that it has received its second natural gas allocation (“Gas Allocation”) from the Kazakhstan State Authority responsible for gas distribution. The Gas Allocation will be used as feed gas for the Company’s planned second modular Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”) low carbon fuel production facility near the Port of Kuryk on the Caspian Sea.

The second gas allocation will supply the company’s planned Kuryk LNG facility, which will produce the energy equivalent volume of 565,000 liters of diesel fuel per day, enough to power 155 mainline locomotives. Combined with the previously announced first gas allocation for the Alga LNG facility, the total LNG fuel produced will have an energy equivalent volume of more than one million liters of diesel fuel per day, while also reducing carbon emissions.2 emissions equivalent to taking more than 58,000 cars off the road each year.
