Update of inside information pursuant to Article 17 MAR of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014, sent by EQS News – a service of EQS Group AG.

Nakiki SE announces that the two so-called “mask lawsuits” (lawsuits against the federal government for payment related to COVID mask supply contracts), which are currently in the assessment phase or in the letter of intent phase, will not be funded after thorough and detailed investigation.

Litigation funders such as Nakiki SE assess claims to be funded through both internal and external legal and economic evaluations. A decision not to fund a claim is not necessarily an indicator of the likelihood of success of the claim, but may also be due to a limited risk appetite or other factors.

In principle, Nakiki SE remains interested in financing so-called mask lawsuits. Concerned mask suppliers are still encouraged to contact Nakiki. Each case is assessed individually and promptly.
