Bernards’ Watt, Ridge’s McMahon headline Magee Memorial Class Meet

The Magee Memorial Class Meet returned to Central Park in Morris County for another year of competition and the runners did not disappoint.

The annual meet has a rich history. It honors one of the founders of the NJCTC Conference, Bernie Magee. When Magee passed away in 1997, the NJCTC renamed the first meet of the season in his honor, becoming the Bernie Magee Memorial Class Meet. Bill Magee, longtime Bergen Catholic cross-country coach and son of Bernie Magee, passed away in 2015, and the meet was renamed the Magee Memorial Class Meet in honor of both.
