Youth on dirt bike seriously injured in crash in Brampton

A youth riding a dirt bike was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Brampton, paramedics said.

The accident happened near Brenscombe and Remembrance Road, south of Mayfield Road and east of Chinguacousy Road.

Peel Regional Police said they were called to the area at 4:46 p.m. for reports of a collision between the drivers of a dirt bike and a vehicle. The motorist remained at the scene, they said.

According to police, the driver of the dirt bike was “conscious and breathing.”

Motorists are urged to take alternative routes.
