Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union Announces Appointment of New Director

LOWELL, MA (September 23, 2024) — Larissa C. Thurston, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union, welcomes Sean Bal at the Credit Union as Assistant Vice President – ​​Financial Crimes. In this new role, Ball will assemble a team of fraud specialists to further protect Jeanne D’Arc members from the ever-present threat of fraud.

Ball is a Certified Economic Crime Forensic Examiner (CECFE) through the National White‐Collar Crimes Center (NW3C) and has over 13 years of experience investigating and investigating white‐collar financial crimes. He most recently served as a financial crimes specialist and investigator for the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.

Ball earned a Master of Business Administration in Accounting with a concentration in Forensic Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a concentration in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination from Southern New Hampshire University. Ball also received an Associate’s Degree in Legal Studies from Andover College (Kaplan University School).

Sean lives with his family in Londonderry, NH.
