EastEnders villain commits suicide in terrifying twist for Yolande Trueman

YOLANDE Trueman faces a terrifying twist in EastEnders when she discovers her attacker has committed suicide.

Yolande (Angela Wynter) and Patrick (Rudolph Walker) are stunned when Police reveal that Pastor Clayton (Howard Saddler) committed suicide.

Earlier this year, she courageously opened up about her sexual abuse at the hands of the pastor.

Although Yolande reported the villain to the police, there was initially not enough evidence.

However, things started to look better when Police decided to charge him with two counts of assault.

Before the villain dies, Yolande questions whether or not to attend the harvest festival celebration.

As Patrick tries to convince her, DS Amartey (Eva Fontaine) arrives and tells her that another woman has come forward in the case against Reverend Clayton.

Meanwhile, Yolande is inspired by Amy’s (Ellie Dadd) strength and goes to the community center.

However, the situation soon deteriorates when Stella (Velile Tshabalala), the pastor’s wife, arrives.

Stella asks Yolande to retract her statement, but soon the harsh truths come to light.

Later, Pastor Clayton interrupts Yolande at home and demands to speak to her.

After asking his victim to change her statement, he is shocked to find that she will not.

He quickly leaves once Denzel (Jaden Ladenga) arrives and leads him away.

Patrick, Howie (Delroy Atkinson) and Kim (Tameka Empson) are shocked to hear what happened, but it’s clear that Yolande has found strength in standing up for herself.

Shortly after, she learns of Reverend Clayton’s suicide, which changes everything.

The storyline spans several months and in April horrific scenes take place in which the pastor sexually abuses Yolande, following earlier all too familiar behavior.

She couldn’t help herself and then ran to the laundromat.

Since the attack, Yolande has been seeking justice and discovers that Pastor Clayton has targeted other women as well.
