September 26, 2024

Lebensmittel wertschätzen and Verschwendung reduzieren – it is a central support of the joint EDEKA-Verbunds. About the openness for the high mass Lebensmittelabfällen for everything in the private house of sensitivity, beteiligt sich EDEKA and the fünften Aktionswoche “Zu gut für die Tonne!” of the Federal Ministeriums for Ernährung and Landwirtschaft (BMEL), which stattfindet from September 29 to October 6.

The Aktionswoche is part of the national strategy for reducing the life cycle. The aim: to halve the food turnover in trade and consumer goods for the sake of the head by 2030. EDEKA has also joined forces with this. By calling on the industrial association and the nature conservation care of the WWF, food waste is minimized in charity.

2024 ist in die Schwerpunkt der Aktionswoche op de correct Einkaufsplanung und Lagerung van Lebensmitteln, so die creative resteverwertung. As a German Führender Lebensmittelhändler, EDEKA is an expert in a company with Lebensmitteln and provides new knowledge with tips and advice.

The start of the campaign is no longer necessary, as the welfare organization went to the “International Day of Food Loss and Food Waste Awareness” on September 29. Worldwide, valuable foods were largely squandered without any source.

In Deutschland kommen laut BMEL jährlich bound 11 Millionen Tonnen Lebensmittel jijsammen, der Großteil davon (60 Prozent) fell in privateen Haushalten an. Who fell you are single-mindedly, is not not aware: A representative Erhebung¹ von EDEKA ergab, dass nur 17 Prozent der Befragten die Pro-Kopf-Menge an wegworfenen Lebensmitteln with fast 80 Kilogramm² direct assessments – 58 Prozent unterschatzen sie.

Erfreulich ist, dass immerhin 80 Prozent der befragten Menschen in Deutschland prüfen, ob een Lebensmittel with abgelaufenem Mindesthaltbarkeitsdatum nor genßbar ist. With 83 Prozent, the group of 30- to 39-year-olds lives above the high Wert, both 18- to 29-year-olds since they are now 75 Prozent. The Zahlen is one of the alternative groups that can no longer be used on the 20th day.
