Athens High School Receives Grant to Establish Piano Class

ATHENS, AL (WAFF) – Students at Athens High School will soon have the chance to learn to play the piano after the school received thousands of dollars in grants.

The school choir received a $10,000 matching grant from the Dekko Foundation. The choir will raise money to match the grant by selling popcorn, poinsettias, spirit shirts and concert tickets.

The Dekko Foundation is a private family foundation that invests in projects and programs that help young people develop skills.
